January 24, 2023: Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters say that the U.S. is currently in a recession. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that just 21% rate the U.S. economy as excellent or good, while 76% say it is fair or poor.
The survey also found that 21% of voters say the economy is getting better, while 59% say it is getting worse.
