July 13, 2022: Forty-nine percent (49%) of voters say they approve of the way the Supreme Court is doing its job. This is down slightly from just before the Dobbs decision, but consistent with levels in late March. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 42% do not approve, and 9% are not sure.

The survey also found that 36% of voters say they trust the Supreme Court more than the other branches of the federal government. Nineteen percent (19%) trust the Presidency the most, and just 11% have the most trust in Congress. Thirty-four percent (34%) are not sure.

Methodology

The survey of 1,200 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on June 27-29, 2022. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population.

The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 2.8 percentage points.
