June 23, 2025: Two hundred and forty-five (245) years ago, the Battle of Springfield was fought during the Revolutionary War. The Continental Army won the battle, effectively ending the British campaign in New Jersey. It was one of the last major battles in the North, and shifted British efforts further south.[1]
