March 20, 2025: Sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters say there is a lot of corruption in the federal government. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found that 23% say there is a little, 6% say there is almost none, and nobody said there is none.

The survey also found 25% say bureaucrats who lead federal agencies are more corrupt than CEOs who lead large companies. Twenty percent (20%) hold the opposite opinion. A majority of voters (52%) say both are equally corrupt.

Methodology

The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on March 6, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
