March 26, 2024: Twenty-four percent (24%) of voters say that it is appropriate for a U.S. political leader to call for the Israeli Prime Minister to step down. A Scott Rasmussen national survey conducted by RMG Research found that 54% believe the United States should instead respect the will of the Israeli people and work with their elected leaders.
The survey also found that 37% believe the U.S. should be supporting Israel in the current war, 14% say the U.S. should be supporting the Palestinian groups, and 31% that the U.S. should support neither side.
Methodology
The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on March 18-19, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
