March 5, 2025: Two hundred and fifty-five (255) years ago on March 5, 1770, the events of the Boston Massacre occurred. British soldiers shot into a crowd on King Street in Boston, killing three and injuring eight, two of which were fatal. The Boston Massacre was a culmination of growing tensions in the colonies due to greater constriction from the British. The massacre would cause many colonists to turn against British rule, and create a hunger for freedom, equality, and self-governance.[1]
