May 29, 2025: Thirty percent (30%) of voters rate the state of race relations in America today as good or excellent. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found 36% rate them as fair, and 30% as poor.

The survey also found 71% say race relations are better today than they were in the 1960's. Twenty-one percent (21%) say they are worse.

Methodology

The survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on May 19-20, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of Registered Voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
