May 9, 2024: So far this year, 94 statewide ballot measures have been certified for the ballot across 34 states. That’s three more than the 91 that had been certified at this point in the year from 2012 to 2022. In even numbered years over the 2012-2022 period, an average of 157 statewide measures were certified in total. 2024 is so far on track to surpass that average.
