November 19, 2024: One hundred and sixty-one (161) years ago, President Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. This speech has since become one of the most important and famous speeches in American history. Surprisingly, the speech was quite short, but its impact would be much larger. In the speech, Lincoln focused on the sacrifices of the Union soldiers and the goal of equality.[1]
