November 2, 2020: Forty-three percent (43%) of voters nationwide believe that Democrats are the political party most likely to trust the voters. A PoliticalIQ poll found that 33% take the opposite view and believe Republicans have more confidence in voters. Fifteen percent (15%) don’t believe either party trusts the voters, while 10% are not sure.[1]

By a 38% to 31% margin, voters also believe that Democrats are more likely to trust the government than Republicans.[1]

Friday’s Number of the Day noted that voters are evenly divided as to which party is more committed to individual freedom.
