November 26, 2025: Four billion, eight hundred and seven million (4.807 billion) pounds of turkey is projected to be produced in the United States in 2025. This is down from the 5.12 billion pounds produced last year. In terms of overall production, the top eight states that produced the most turkeys in 2024 were Minnesota, North Carolina, Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, Iowa, and Pennsylvania.[1]
