November 27, 2019: The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade this year will feature 2,793 Marching Band Members, 1,000 clowns, 600 cheerleaders, and 600 dancers.[1]
There will also be 26 festive floats and 16 giant character balloons. Making its debut this year will be a brand new Astronaut Snoopy balloon.[1] This is the eighth different balloon in the parade’s history featuring Charlie Brown’s famous dog.[2]
When you add in the celebrities, balloon handlers, and others, more than 8,000 people will play a role in entertaining the live audience of more than 3 million people.[1]
