The Number of the Day columns published on Ballotpedia reflect the views of the author.
November 4, 2019: One year from today, Election 2020 will be over. We will know if President Trump has been re-elected or replaced. We will also know who controls the House and Senate, along with state and local governments across the country.
Through it all, Ballotpedia, the Encyclopedia of American Politics, will offer the deepest coverage of elections at every level in a non-partisan and neutral manner.
Much of the nation’s attention will be focused on the race for the White House and U.S. Senate, where partisan control has changed hands four times from 2000 to 2018.
However, as an earlier Number of the Day noted, there are more than 500,000 elected officials in the United States. Ballotpedia will be among the only resources offering comprehensive coverage of races for Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and other Statewide Executives. The online encyclopedia also covers ballot initiatives, judicial races, municipal elections, school board elections, and state legislative races.
Full coverage can be found through this portal.
And, one year from today, when many Americans breathe a sigh of relief that the campaigning is finally over, Ballotpedia will gear up for its coverage of Election 2022.
