November 6, 2020: During the presidential campaign, 19% of President Trump’s supporters kept their support secret from their friends. A Public Opinion Strategies survey found that, among supporters of former Vice President Joe Biden, 8% did the same.[1]
This may reflect “shy” voters for each candidate. On the other hand, it may simply be that some people routinely share more about their political views than others.[1]
