October 28, 2019: A ScottRasmussen.com national survey found that 84% of voters believe that the passage of Medicare for All will lead to higher taxes for the Middle Class.[1]
Some advocates of Medicare for All acknowledge that taxes will go up but claim that they will be offset by the lower cost of medical care.
However, most voters (52%) believe that the government-run program would cause the cost of care to go up rather than down. Just 17% believe Medicare for All would lead to lower health care costs.
