September 28, 2021: Seventy-six percent (76%) of voters believe it's likely that raising taxes on large corporations would raise prices for consumers. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 14% believe it's unlikely that consumers would pay higher prices and 10% are not sure.[1]
The survey also found that 73% believe such tax increases would cause some companies to move jobs overseas.[1]
Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans believe higher corporate taxes would lead to higher costs for consumers. So do 76% of Democrats and 68% of independents.[1]
