Scott Rasmussen's Number of the Day for August 11, 2022
The Number of the Day columns published on Ballotpedia reflect the views of the author.
August 11, 2022: Thirty-three percent (33%) of Americans say they trust the Supreme Court more than either the Presidency or Congress. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 17% trust the Presidency the most, and just 8% trust Congress most.
The survey also found that 43% approve of the way the Supreme Court is doing its job, while 47% disapprove. Congress fares worse. Just 23% of voters approve of the way it is doing its job, and 67% disapprove.
Methodology
The survey of 1,200 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on July 28-39, 2022. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population.
The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 2.8 percentage points.
