December 13, 2019: There are currently 770 million surveillance cameras in place around the world. More are being added every day and the number of such cameras is expected to top 1 billion within two years.[1]
There are more surveillance cameras in China than anywhere else in the world.[1]
However, there are already 70 million of them in the United States today. That’s one camera for every 4.6 Americans.[1]
