December 16, 2020: Fifty-five percent (55%) of voters nationwide approve of the way that President-elect Biden has handled his role. A PoliticalIQ survey found that 37% disapprove and 7% are not sure.[1]
The totals include 31% who strongly approve and 25% who strongly disapprove.[1]
Eighty-two percent (82%) of Black voters provide Biden with a positive review. So do 67% of Hispanic voters and 48% of White voters.[1]
Sixty percent (60%) of government workers approve of Biden’s performance so far. So do 58% of those who work in the private sector. However, just 49% of retirees share that view.[1]
Sixty-five percent (65%) of those with a college degree approve. Among those without a degree, Biden earns positive reviews from 49% and negative reviews from 42%.[1]
The survey was conducted in the days immediately leading up to the Electoral College confirmation of Biden as the President-elect. The numbers are little changed from the week before when 54% offered their approval.[1]
