February 28, 2020: South Carolina’s presidential primary tomorrow will award 54 pledged delegates to candidates on a proportional basis. This represents approximately 1.4% of all the pledged delegates heading to the Democratic National Convention in July.[1]

Going into the South Carolina primary, Bernie Sanders leads all candidates with 45 pledged delegates in his column. He is trailed by Pete Buttigieg with 25 delegates, Joe Biden with 15, Elizabeth Warren with 8, and Amy Klobuchar with 7.[2]
