January 26, 2021: President Biden issued at least 29 executive orders during his first three days in office. That’s more than his predecessors. President Obama issued five executive orders during his first three days in office, while President Trump issued one.[1]

According to The Wall Street Journal, “Some GOP lawmakers say the initiatives undermine Mr. Biden’s push for bipartisan deal making and national unity.” At the same time, however, “some progressives are urging him to go further.”[1]

Each weekday, Scott Rasmussen’s Number of the Day explores interesting and newsworthy topics at the intersection of culture, politics, and technology.
