June 26, 2018: Thirty-two percent (32%) of Americans are interested in soccer—far lower than the interest levels of other nations in what they call football.[1]
Globally, more than 3 billion people watched at least some of the World Cup tournament in 2014. Expectations are that a similar number will watch the 2018 edition currently being played in Russia.
