March 10, 2020: Voters in six states will award a total of 352 pledged Democratic primary delegates today. Michigan—with 125 delegates at stake—is the largest prize. Washington state is next on the list with 89 delegates, followed by Missouri with 68.[1]

Voters will also go to the polls in Mississippi (36 delegates), Idaho (20 delegates), and North Dakota (14 delegates).[1]

As with all Democratic primaries, delegates will be awarded on a proportional basis to anybody receiving 15% of the vote. At the moment, only former Vice President Joe Biden, Representative Tulsi Gabbard, and Senator Bernie Sanders are actively competing for the Democratic nomination. However, due to early voting, candidates who were active earlier in the race will pick up votes and possibly delegates.

Each weekday, Scott Rasmussen’s Number of the Day explores interesting and newsworthy topics at the intersection of culture, politics, and technology.
