November 22, 2018: It’s time for the big feast, and this year Americans bought 365 million pounds of turkey for Thanksgiving.[1]

Of course, there’s more to the meal than turkey. Americans also purchased 250 million pounds of potatoes (including 57 million pounds of sweet potatoes). On top of that, Thanksgiving dinners will include 40 million bakery rolls, 28 million pies, and 17 million pounds of fresh cranberries.
