September 26, 2019: Thirty percent (30%) of those who follow Major League Baseball believe the New York Yankees will win the World Series this year. A ScottRasmussen.com national survey found that 20% expect the Houston Astros to win it all while 18% believe the Los Angeles Dodgers will emerge victorious.[1]
The Atlanta Braves are picked to win by 8%, and no other contender tops 5%.
As to which teams the fans want to win, the Yankees are also on top. Twenty-two percent (22%) are hoping the Bronx Bombers win their first title in a decade. Eleven percent (11%) pick the Dodgers. Houston and the Cleveland Indians each have 10% rooting for them.
