Scott Shipplett

Scott Shipplett is a judge of the Ninth Circuit Court in Illinois. He was first elected to the bench in 2006 and was retained in 2012 for a term that expires in 2018.[1][2]
Education
Shipplett spent one year at Carl Sandburg College in 1979 but proceeded to spend the next eight years with the U.S. Army. He later returned to school and earned an undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies (University of Illinois) and a graduate degree (Beijing University, People's Republic of China). He received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1993.[3]
