Scott Wagner is a member of the Clay County Commission in Missouri, representing Western District-Seat 2. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Wagner won election to the Clay County Commission to represent Western District-Seat 2 in Missouri outright in the primary on August 2, 2022, after the general election was canceled.
Wagner was an at-large member of the Kansas City City Council in Missouri, holding Position 1. He was elected to the council in 2011.[1][2] Wagner could not file to run for re-election in 2019 due to term limits.[3]

2015
The city of Kansas City, Missouri, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and city council on June 23, 2015. A primary election took place on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 13, 2015. All 12 city council seats were up for election.[4][5]
In the primary election for the District 1 At-large seat, incumbent Scott Wagner and Jeffrey Roberts were unchallenged. Wagner defeated Roberts in the general election on June 23.[6][7][8]
