Wiggam's campaign website highlighted the following issues:
“ |
Jobs and Opportunity: As your State Representative, I will work to keep state government focused on its limited role in supporting private sector job growth while reducing government’s regulatory overreach and I will work to ensure all Ohioans have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Proven Success: As a State Representative I will take the fiscal common sense we've achieved in Wayne County to Columbus so Ohio families can keep more of their hard-earned money and all citizens can follow their dreams without the fear of burdensome regulations and increasing government mandates. Taxes and Regulation: I will work to reduce our tax burden, roll back regulations, and empower individuals to fulfill their dreams. Education: I will work to reduce mandates and to empower parents and our local schools because they -- not government bureaucrats -- are best-equipped to make decisions about local education. Protecting Life: As your State Representative I will continue to work to expand protections for unborn children and to eliminate policies that seek to end human life in the womb.[6] |

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
