The city of Jacksonville, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on May 19, 2015. A primary took place on March 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 16, 2015. All 19 city council seats were up for election.[1]
In the primary election for District 4, Ramon Day (D) and Scott Wilson (R) advanced past Fred Engness (R) and Ryan Taylor (R). Day and Wilson faced off in the general election on May 19, 2015.[2] Wilson was the winner.[3] Incumbent Don Redman (R) was ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits.[4]
