Scotty Campbell (Republican Party) was a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 3. He assumed office on November 3, 2020. He left office on April 20, 2023.

Campbell (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Tennessee House of Representatives to represent District 3. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Campbell is a former Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 3 from 2010 to 2012.

From 2006 to 2010, Campbell worked for House Speaker Kent Williams and other members of the General Assembly.

On April 20, 2023, Campbell resigned after an ethics investigation concluded that Campbell had violated workplace discrimination and harassment policies.[1]

Biography

Scotty Campbell graduated from Johnson County High School. Campbell earned degrees from Vol State Community College and Cumberland University. His career experience includes working as the morning news and talk host for the Tri-Cities with SuperTalk 92.9.[2]

Campbell defeated Democrat Joe Mike Akard and independents Parke S. Morris and Thomas White in the general election on November 2, 2010. Campbell defeated Carl Michael Howard, Nick Collette, Sherry Greene Grubb, Timothy Hill, Richard Armstrong, III and Marvin Gurley in the August 5 primary.[3][4]
