Sean Bowie

Sean Bowie (Democratic Party) was a member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 18. He assumed office on January 9, 2017. He left office on January 9, 2023.

Bowie (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Arizona State Senate to represent District 18. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Biography

Assemblymember Bowie graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 2002. He subsequently attended Arizona State University, graduating with degrees in political science and history. Bowie attended graduate school at Carnegie Mellon University in 2013 and graduated with a master's degree in public policy and management. Before election to the legislature, Bowie served in the Provost's office at Arizona State University.[1]

In November 2016, Bowie was elected to Arizona's legislature to represent District 18. After his election, Bowie became a sitting member on the Appropriations Committee, the Commerce Committee, and Finance Committee.[2]
