Sean Earl Brearcliffe is a judge for Division Two of the Arizona Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 2017. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Brearcliffe ran for re-election for the Division Two judge of the Arizona Court of Appeals. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
Brearcliffe was appointed to the court by Republican Governor Doug Ducey in 2017 to fill a vacancy left by the retirement of former Judge Michael O. Miller.[1]
Brearcliffe was previously a judge on the Pima County Superior Court in Arizona. He was appointed to that court by Governor Jan Brewer on May 9, 2013.[2]
Education
Brearcliffe earned his B.A. in English from California State University-Hayward in 1991 and his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1995.[3][4]
