I am a family man and an attorney running for the United States Senate to bring practical, people-focused leadership to Washington. I was born and raised in Chicago and have spent my career serving the public through the law, including years protecting communities in Cook County as a prosecutor and later advocating for individuals and families in private practice.

I am a husband and proud father of two daughters, and my faith strongly informs my belief in dignity, fairness, and service to others. I am running because too many people are being left behind by rising healthcare costs, an outdated immigration system, and political gridlock that favors powerful interests over everyday people.

My campaign focuses on making healthcare affordable and accessible, strengthening public safety while protecting civil liberties, expanding educational opportunity, and restoring balance and accountability in government. I believe government should work for people who play by the rules, work hard, and simply want a fair shot. My goal is to bring common-sense leadership, constitutional values, and a commitment to results to the U.S. Senate.
  • Healthcare That Works for Working Families. Healthcare should be affordable, accessible, and centered on patients—not insurance companies. I am fighting for Universal Care Plus, a fully government-funded healthcare system that lowers costs, expands access to care, and includes mental health services. Rising healthcare expenses hurt families, suppress wages, and burden small businesses. By investing in preventive care and eliminating out-of-pocket barriers, we can improve health outcomes while strengthening our economy. Healthcare is not just a moral issue—it is an economic necessity.
  • Restoring Balance, Accountability, and the Rule of Law. Our democracy depends on checks and balances, transparency, and respect for the Constitution. I am running to restore accountability in government by reasserting Congress’s role in major decisions on war powers, trade, and executive authority. No president should govern by decree. Americans deserve leadership that respects the rule of law, protects civil liberties, and makes decisions through open debate and democratic processes.
  • Practical Solutions Rooted in Opportunity and Dignity. I believe government should work for people who work hard and play by the rules. That means a humane and functional immigration system, safe communities that respect privacy and civil rights, affordable education, and economic policies that expand opportunity. My approach is practical, not ideological—focused on solutions that strengthen families, grow the workforce, and give every child a fair chance to succeed.
I am deeply passionate about reducing gun violence while respecting constitutional rights. I believe we can protect the Second Amendment and still take responsible steps to keep our communities safe. That includes universal background checks, a national gun licensing and training registry, safe storage laws, and making policies that deter dangerous individuals from obtaining firearms. Gun violence is a public safety and public health issue that affects families, schools, and neighborhoods every day. My focus is on practical, evidence-based solutions that reduce violence, protect law-abiding gun owners, and save lives.
