I am a native Floridian from the Tampa Bay Area, and Graduated from South East High School, Bradenton Florida in 1987 and from the University of South Florida in 1996. From age 16 to 23, I worked in a variety of food industries jobs as a cook, assistant Manager, and Manager. At age 23 I worked at Thornton Mazda as a parts attendant and later as a mechanic. At age 28 I worked as a Substitute Teacher in Manatee County. In 1996, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an Electronic Technician and served onboard the USS CONSTELLATION. In 1998 I attended Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an Officer (Cryptologist/Information Warfare). was assigned to a variety of commands: Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA) Northwest, NSGA Norfolk, USNS STALWART, USS ARLEIGH BURKE, NSGA Norfolk, USS SPRUANCE, COMUSNAVSO/FOURTHFLEET. I has had two deployed to the Arabian Gulf (2000 and 2004), and Two deployments to USSOUTHCOM Area of operations (Caribbean and Pacific counter drug operations). In 2009 He left Active Duty and Started Reserve duty with USSOCOM Detachment 108. In July 2013, as a Lieutenant Commander, I was medically retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves. After leaving active duty in 2009, I began a career as a Military Contractor and worked at USCENTCOM, USSOUTHCOM, Intelligence Systems Support Office, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff/J32. In December 2021, I retired from Military Contracting.

  • I want to improve efficiency in the operations of our schools, to make them fiscally sound.
  • I want to ensure in the investment of quality teachers and administrators to improve moral and retention.
Security and Safety of our community and growth in opportunities for children. I want to have the safest schools in the nation and have a innovation policy that is a example to other schools. I want the learning environment to be so engaging that children will see learning as a adventure and have a passion to be in school.
