- I am running to get big money out of politics so our government answers to voters, not donors. I support overturning Citizens United, strict limits on campaign contributions, full disclosure of who is funding our elections, and an outright ban on members of Congress trading individual stocks. Public service should never be a way to get rich. It should be a job where ordinary people fight for their neighbors.
- I believe a healthy and educated community is the foundation of a strong economy. I support a universal single payer health care system so no one in Ohio has to choose between a doctor visit and rent. I want tax policy that rewards work, not wealth, and that gives real relief to the middle class and working poor. When people are healthy and secure, small businesses grow, families stay, and our towns can thrive again.
- I will defend and strengthen public education so every child, in every zip code in this district, has a safe and well funded school. I will fight the siphoning of public dollars into unaccountable for profit charter schemes. I want major investment in modern infrastructure, from water systems to broadband, that creates good union jobs here at home. Government should be the tool working people use to improve their lives together.
