Sean Dollman is a Republican political advisor and financial consultant. As of September 2017, he was the director of operations for Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign.[1] Prior to working with Trump, Dollman was the deputy treasurer of administration in the state of Arizona.
Career
Education and early career
After graduating with an associate degree in business administration from Glendale Community College in 2006, Dollman enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving for three years. While in the Army, he received a Purple Heart for wounds suffered in combat.[2] After returning to Arizona, Dollman attended Northern Arizona University, graduating in 2012 with a degree in business administration.[3]

In 2014, Dollman served as the operations director for Jeff DeWit's campaign for Arizona treasurer.[3]

After DeWit's victory in 2014, Dollman was appointed director of communications and government affairs in DeWit's office. In this role, he oversaw press communications and communications with other government entities. He then became the deputy treasurer of administration for the state in February 2016. In 2015, Dollman was involved in negotiations between DeWit and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R), who had planned a method of school funding that involved withdrawing from the state land trust. According to The Arizona Republic, DeWit was hesitant to back the plan. Dollman took notes of the meetings between DeWit and Ducey's chief of staff, Kirk Adams, who Dollman said threatened to attack DeWit with advertising.[4]

In July 2016, Dollman began working on Trump's presidential campaign. According to his LinkedIn account, Dollman was the campaign's deputy chief of operations.[3]

In January 2017, Trump announced that he would keep his campaign committee together and that Michael Glassner—his deputy campaign manager in 2016—would lead the group.[1] According to Politico, the organization was set up to focus on data building and fundraising for an expected presidential campaign in 2020.[5] Trump announced that Dollman would serve as the campaign's operations director.[6]
