Campaign themes

Gorman issued the following statement regarding his bid for office:

I want to represent the interests of my neighbors in district 36, many of whom work hard and struggle to make ends meet. My goal is to bring progress on issues that directly improve our daily lives and which provide improved opportunities for the future. Education is a big concern - Indiana needs to focus on expanding and improving our public education system to ensure we are well positioned to take advantage of the need for an educated workforce, and we need to take measures to ensure that Hoosier workers are fairly compensated.
