Sean Jerguson
Sean Jerguson is a former Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 22nd District from 2007 to 2012. He briefly represented District 21 following the 2012 general election until he resigned to run for the Georgia State Senate District 21 seat.
Jerguson has served as mayor of Holly Springs, and mayor pro-tempore of the Holly Springs City Council.
Biography
Jerguson earned his B.A. and M.A. from Kennesaw State University. His professional experience includes working as the founder/owner of Hi-caliber and founder/owner of Jurgeson Construction, Incorporated.[1]

Sean Jerguson endorsed Newt Gingrich in the 2012 presidential election.[2]
Elections
2013
Jerguson ran in the special election for Georgia State Senate District 21. The seat was vacant following the resignation of Chip Rogers (R) on December 5, 2012. Jerguson lost to Brandon Beach (R) in the special election on January 8, 2013.[3][4][5]

2012
Jerguson ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 21. Jerguson defeated Scot Turner in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012.[6] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8][9] Jerguson ran unopposed in the general election.[10]

2010
Jerguson ran for re-election to the 22nd District seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the July 20 primary. Jerguson defeated Bill Brown (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[11]

2008
In 2008 Jerguson was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 22. Jerguson (R) finished with 24,159 votes while his opponent Bill Brown (D) finished with 8,986 votes.[12] Jerguson raised $114,717 for his campaign fund.[13]
