Sean Lafferty is a judge of the Superior Court of Riverside County in California. He assumed office on January 5, 2015. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Lafferty won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Riverside County in California outright in the primary on March 3, 2020, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Biography

Education

Lafferty received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Riverside in 1991. He went on to earn his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 1996.[1]

Career

Prior to his election to the bench, Lafferty was a prosecutor with the Riverside County District Attorney's office. He previously worked as a prosecutor for Contra Costa County.[1]
