Sean Logan (Pennsylvania)
Sean Logan was a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate from 2001 to 2010. Logan was re-elected in November of 2008 for a term expiring in 2012. However, Logan resigned in July of 2010 to serve as Vice President of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.[1] His seat remained vacant until the 2010 election when it was filled by James Brewster (D).
Before becoming a Senator, Logan was the Mayor of the City of Monroeville from 1997 to 2000. Before becoming an elected official, Logan was Director of the Office of Consumer Protection for the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office in 1999 and served as Community Development Representative to Congressman Michael Doyle in 1994 and District Representative for former State Senator Frank Pecora in 1991.
Logan graduated from Pittsburgh with his bachelor's degree in political science in 1993.
