Sean M. Persin is a judge of the Tippecanoe County Circuit Court in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Persen was appointed by Gov. Eric Holcomb (R) on October 27, 2017. He took office on January 1, 2018.[1] Persin previously served as a judge on the Tippecanoe County Superior Court from 2015 to 2017.

Biography

Persin received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2001.[2] At the time of his election to the superior court, Persin served as a magistrate for Tippecanoe County and as a supervising judicial officer for Tippecanoe County ’s drug and alcohol program. He was previously a partner at the firm of Withered, Burns and Persin LLP.[3]

Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 53.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Daniel J. Moore.
