Sean O'Brien (Democratic Party) was a member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 32. He assumed office on January 1, 2017. He left office on December 31, 2020.

O'Brien (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Ohio State Senate to represent District 32. He lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.

O'Brien is a former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 63 from 2010 to 2016.

O'Brien earned his bachelor's degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the University of Akron. His professional experience includes serving as the Trumbull County Assistant Prosecutor for 12 years.[1]
