Sean Perkins is a judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. He assumed office in 2021. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Perkins ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
He was appointed to the court on May 5, 2021 by Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) to replace Pennie Millender.[1]
Biography
Prior to his appointment to the court, Perkins worked as an attorney at the Perkins Law Group PLLC handling felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, personal injury and no-fault civil cases, and bankruptcy cases. He was also a benefits representative for UAW Local 387 at Ford's Woodhaven Stamping facility, where he worked before going to law school.[1]
