Sean Teare (Democratic Party) is the Harris County District Attorney in Texas. Teare assumed office on January 1, 2025. Teare's current term ends on December 31, 2028.

Biography
Teare graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in American history. After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center, Teare joined the Harris County District Attorney's office as a prosecutor. Teare left the office in 2010 to practice law at a personal injury firm. In 2017, Teare rejoined the district attorney's office as the supervisor of the vehicular crimes division. He remained with the office until resigning to run for district attorney in 2023.[1][2]
