Selim Noujaim
Selim G. Noujaim is a former Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 74 from 2002 to 2017. He was first elected to the chamber after winning a special election in February 2002.
Noujaim did not seek re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2016.
Biography
Noujaim is the former president and chief executive officer of the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and executive vice president of the Noujaim Tool Company, Incorporated.[1]

Elections for the Connecticut House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election took place on August 9, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was June 7, 2016. Incumbent Selim Noujaim (R) did not seek re-election.
Stephanie Cummings defeated Wendy Tyson-Wood in the Connecticut House of Representatives District 74 general election.[2]

2014
Elections for the Connecticut House of Representatives consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Selim G. Noujaim was unopposed in the Republican primary and defeated Margaret A. O'Brien (I) in the general election.[3][4]

Noujaim ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut House of Representatives District 74. Noujaim ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012. He defeated Joseph Nolan (I) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[5][6][7]

Noujaim ran for re-election to the 74th District seat in 2010. He defeated Francisco Abreu (I) in the November 2 general election.

2008
On November 4, 2008, Noujaim won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 74th District, defeating Frank Burgio, Sr. (I). Noujaim received 4,843 votes in the election while Burgio received 1,224 votes.[8] Noujaim raised $39,610 for his campaign; Burgio raised $18,418.[9]
