  • Our neighborhoods are changing and growing we need a representative that understands the changes and needs for our community
  • No more than ever our communities need to communicate and unite. I want residents to know that I am accessible and available to meet and discuss any issues that matters to them.
  • I am here to serve, support and stand up for what’s right, what’s best for the City of Albany.
Affordable housing is something I am very passionate about. As well as Re-zoning in The City of Albany.
I think that this level Office is unique because of how close you are to your constituents. This is Office requires you to be on the ground in the streets with the people you represent. The choice and decisions made by the council can directly impact our day to day lives allowing us to make direct change.
I don’t a set person that I look up to. I do my best to be the best person I can be.
I think Honesty, Integrity, empathy and hard work are important principles to have as an elected official.
I think some core responsibilities are to be Honest and transparent about matters that impact a large group of people. I believe anyone in this position must have the courage to stand up and voice concern or reasoning as to why we must do something or not. Most importantly listening is Key.
My very first job was in construction cleaning out debris from buildings. I was in middle school and would do it over summer break.
Malcom x - autobiographical.
I think majority of people should educate themselves on the basic functions of this office.
Experience is always great, but I think diversity in backgrounds is just as important.
I think having an understanding in public policy, Urban planning, contract law and accounting would be great skills to have in this office.
