Seth Harp is a former Republican member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 29 from 2001 to 2011. Harp did not seek re-election in 2010.

Harp was a member of the Muscogee County School Board and a delegate at the National Republican Convention.

Biography

Harp earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from Auburn University and his J.D. from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. His professional experience includes working as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate for the United States Naval Forces and Attorney/Owner of Harp and Associates. He served as Captain in the United States Marine Corps.

On November 4, 2008, Harp won re-election to the Georgia Senate from Georgia's 29th Senate district. Harp received 43,137 votes in the election, defeating Evelyn Anderson (D), who received 26,154 votes.[1] Harp raised $98,809 for his campaign in 2008.[2]
