Seth L. Marvin

Seth L. Marvin is an acting justice of the Bronx County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 12th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to this position in 2004. He has also served on the New York City Criminal Court since 2000.[1][2]
Education
Marvin received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1978 and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1981.[1]
Career
Marving began his career in 1981 as an Assistant Bronx County District Attorney, serving in the Appeals Bureau. in 1986, he joined the law firm of Dornbush Mensch Mandelstam & Silverman, where he worked as a litigation associate until 1989. He then worked as an Assistant U.S. District Attorney for the Eastern District of New York until his judicial appointment in 2000. He was appointed to the New York City Criminal Court in 2000 and was reappointed to a full term in 2002. Since 2004, he has also served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice.[1]
