- Cut Taxes
- Excerpt: "As the economy becomes stronger and tax revenue goes up, that money should not be used to increase the state’s budget as it was before the recession. Extra income should be returned, through tax cuts, to the people who are generating the increase. The state should also refill the rainy day fund so future legislatures will not be tempted raise taxes during hard times."
- Reduce Regulation
- Excerpt: "Some of the highest taxes we pay don’t come in the form of a check to the government. Whether it is regulating the hours required to become a barber or requiring emissions tests on brand new vehicles, the state inflates the prices we pay for goods every day. Additionally these regulations stifle innovation and make it harder for Utahans to start their own businesses."
- Reform Immigration
- Excerpt: "As the husband of a legal immigrant I am very familiar with the process of legal immigration. I have lived the frustrations as my wife and I spent thousands of dollars and, hundreds of hours bringing my wife into this country the right way, while others illegally jumped the line. I also know the value that skilled and driven immigrants provide to our state and our country."

- Excerpt: "Education is the key to providing our children with a prosperous future. Strength in education relies on the involvement of parents in their children’s studies. I will work to ensure the bureaucracy that accompanies federal involvement in education does not come between parents and teachers. I will also work to secure our financing for education by ensuring that more revenue from our public land is saved in the state’s endowment for education."
- Reclaim State Sovereignty
- Excerpt: "It is clear that Utah is better than the federal government at dealing with the problems that we face every day. The closer government is to the people, the more effective it is in responding to their needs and the more efficient it operates. That’s why, in the 10th Amendment of the Constitution, the founders left the states in charge of all but a very small set of federal duties."
Elections
2012
Moore ran in the 2012 election for Utah House of Representatives District 6. He and Jake Anderegg defeated Sean Hullinger and David Sindt at the Republican convention. Anderegg subsequently defeated Moore in the Republican primary on June 26, 2012. Anderegg faces Democratic candidate Gabrielle Hodson in the general election.[2][3][4]
