I was born in High Point, North Carolina and after moving around the country I moved to the West Valley. In 2008 we moved to Chandler and I graduated from Mesquite High. Shortly after graduating I joined the US Navy and lived in Hawaii, Washington, and Illinois. I deployed to Europe, The Horn of Africa, and Central America in support of missions from anti-piracy to drug interdiction.

I left active duty in 2018 and joined the Naval Reserves as a construction equipment mechanic, and I currently work as a field engineer for a semi-conductor company making a modest middle class living. I am a father to 3 girls, a husband to a wonderful wife, and a devout Catholic. We moved near Downtown Mesa in 2019 and bought our first home, and without a doubt Mesa is my home.

I am the biggest Phoenix Suns fan you'll ever meet (it should be a crime to wear a Lakers jersey to Talking Stick Resort Arena). I am an amateur carpenter, a jogger, and an avid fisherman.
  • Protect the middle class worker from high taxes on income, property, and sales.
  • Pro-Life from conception until natural death
  • Limited government and expanded term limits
I get passionate over a lot of things, but I think many of our issues from drug addiction to the homeless crisis stem from people not having the proper training to access the plethora of high paying and dignified jobs that are available in our economy. It is my promise to do what I can to promote small business growth and protect middle class jobs to raise more people out of poverty and rebuild our economy.
I look to Ron Paul as a living example of how to be as a politician. Well respected by his peers without anybody being able to accuse him of kissing up to anyone. He stood out against the Democrats as well as the mainstream Republican Party to oppose FISA, the Patriot Act, and he advocated for criminal justice reform before it was cool! He is a testament to the idea that if you are a measured and principled individual you can still gain respect from all sides of the political spectrum.
Honesty- I look to eliminate all doubt that I will represent as many Arizonans as I can to the best of my ability without abusing the trust of my constituents.

Humility- I will always remember, and be thankful for, the people that will elect me to political office. I know that our government is structured to be "for the people and by the people", and not for the glory of any politician.

Fortitude- I will stand up to corruption and fight to keep taxpayer dollars dedicated to the programs that agreed upon as worthy of taxpayer investment. I am running on Clean Elections to make a clear stance that I am not interested in advocating strictly for large donors, but for small businesses and individual Arizonan.

I would like to see a return to civility within the government by working with colleagues on both sides of the aisle for the betterment of all Arizonans.

We will find a healthy balance of protecting and securing the border while promoting the human dignity of those individuals seeking freedom and peace in the greatest country on earth.

I will ardently promote the virtues of capitalism while fighting to destroy corruption and "crony capitalism" that taint the greatest economic system of human invention.

I will fight for a true pro-life policy which protects life from conception until natural death by voting to end the death penalty in Arizona.

I will be a testament to the working class people that we can and must take an active part in our government to ensure it complies with the duty of serving the people.
BATMAN! The greatest fictional example of the renaissance man.
I think that with most things in life there is value to having a mixture in experience. Certainly it would be beneficial to have people that have been around the block that understand the in's and out's of the political process, but I personally find great value in the life experiences brought to the legislature by people who work in a multitude of areas. Here in Arizona we have a fantastic makeup of individuals who work in medicine, agriculture, and own businesses.
You can't get anything done in a legislature if everybody hates you, that seems to be a simple fact. I look to the model of Theodore Roosevelt's presidency as an example of a politician who could appease multiple facets of a radically divided nation to accomplish his policy goals. While it seems on the surface that the political spectrum is divided two ways (Rep and Dem), it is clear that setting the direction of the party comes from networking and gathering support from within the party.
I can see myself giving this another go sometime in the future. It has been a blessing to connect with people thus far and to hear what is really impacting people in our state.

I think I will stay local and look into state senate or city council someday, but who could turn down a great opportunity to run for federal congress?
